Jamal Monip’s past experience brings to the table comprehensive development
services with extensive experience covering various aspects of the development
process and development expertise on residential, institutional, commercial and
office buildings.
From 1982 to 1995, he started his career with the Housing Development
Board (HDB). During his years in HDB, he made significant contributions in the
implementation of a whole range of public projects.
Then in 1998, Jamal joined MUIS property development and headed the Project Management Section. He played a strategic role in the planning and implementation by new mosque development under Mosque Building Fund as well as the redevelopment of all Muslim Trust (Wakaf/Baitulmal) worth more than a quarter billion dollars.
He joined Warees Investments Pte. Ltd. In the year 2001 and headed the Facilities Management, Lease Management and Project Management as the Chief of Operations. Some of his projects under his portfolio include The Bencoolen Mixed Development, Chancery Residence, the Madrasah Al Maarif and the Singapore Islamic Hub which consists of an office block, Madrasah school and mosque.
