Lim Yong Hock graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in
Electronic Engineering in 1992. In 1994, at the age of 22, he joined the real
estate business as a full time real estate agent.
Through sheer perseverance, he pulled through ten months without a sale,
only to transact over $5m worth of property in 1995 to become a million
dollar club member.
In 2001, he joined a newly started agency with other top producers like himself and grew the agency strength to over 500 in just two years. He became a full-time trainer in 2002 and was the agency’s Executive Director from 2002 to 2004, when he became the Agency Head till 2006.
Yong Hock joined PropNex in April 2006 as the Chief Trainer, where he revamped and re-developed a brand new training curriculum which is still used as the training modules for new agents today. He was appointed as the Principal Consultant for Life Mastery Academy (a training subsidiary of P&N Holdings) in September 2007.
He developed the First 3D/2N overseas sales training programme called the Sales Mastery Programme in August 2007, which he conducted seven times in just five months. Yong Hock also developed a 12-month training programme called the Operations Elites for training managers and team leaders.
Yong Hock authored “The Associate Performance Journal” in March 2008. The first edition sold over 1,000 copies within three months of its launch and the second edition was launched in June 2008. Overall, Yong Hock has trained more than 3,000 agents for PropNex to date.
In July 2008, he was appointed as Senior Vice President of the Agency, where his portfolio includes Recruitment, Training, Customers Service, Marketing and Strategic Planning.
