Honestly, I have quite a few property agent friends. That’s why when my brother suggested that I contact Connie for our private property sale, I was quite reluctant to do so. But since he’s also a party to the property, I decided to meet Connie.
Our first meeting went well, nothing special. She gathered a few information on our private property and I share that I’m currently being served by another agent on the property rental.
Few months later, when our existing tenant decide to move out, I told Connie about it and asked her to take over and source for new tenant. She did an excellent job in creating a video for our private apartment. Not long after she found the new tenant for us.It was during this one-year property rental period that I realised how wonderful the character of this property agent, Connie. I must say this tenant of ours was very demanding. Connie, on several occasions were reprimanded by the tenant for small little issues. Not only was she tactful in handling the demands from the tenant, she was also firm in delivering the message/rules when they went overboard. Connie was very patient and professional in handling the various challenges that came up during this rental period. She was very knowledgeable, resourceful and provided the right solutions/advice to us in handling the difficult instances we were facing as landlord.
Hence, when we decide to sell this private property, it was very natural that we gave Connie the exclusivity to market this property for us. And of course, she didn’t fail us. Connie constantly fed us with the right information and how the property market was performing. Our property sale was officially completed in Q1’2019. Thanks a lot Connie!
Our professional relationship turned into friendship and when my cousin was keen on purchasing a property in Singapore, my instance reaction was to introduce Connie to him. My cousin’s first impression of Connie was “she’s very patient, not pushy like the other agents he has met”. It was because of her patience, always there to serve and help as well as the ability to provide the right information that gave her the cutting edge. Last year, my cousin bought the newly launched property through her as well.
Following our sale of private property, we decided to purchase a new launch private property. We have seen multiple property launches for many months and Connie was ever so patient in serving us. Again, I must stressed that we didn’t feel pressured to purchase, instead Connie continue to advise us to find one that we are comfortable with before coming to a decision. After many months of viewing dozens of new launches, we finally set our eyes on the new cluster home. I believe for other more aggressive property agents, they would probably stop serving us after a while.
It is Connie’s cheerful personality that makes us feel very comfortable with her and entrust our various property transactions with her. In time to come, when we are ready to sell our current HDB unit, she will definitely be the first person we will reach out to.
