Compared to the other agents that we spoke to, Avis spent the first few sessions understanding our future plans, housing needs and investment goals. Using our monthly expenses and salary income as a gauge, she recommended us to go for housing value that are within our means, and not the maximum loan amount that we would have been granted from the bank. This allows us to be able to move to a house of a higher market value and yet maintain similar lifestyle to our status quo.

We trusted Avis’s professionalism. As such, we gave her our minimum selling price for our old flat and maximum buying price for our new unit, and left it completely to her to represent us in negotiation. It was a nerve wrecking few hours of wait as we just left her to negotiate for us, and the outcomes were beyond our expectations! Speed of closing was fantastic as we managed to get a buyer within 10 days of posting our unit for sale. Avis arranged for multiple viewings in a day to minimize the disruption to our daily routines. For the purchase of our new unit, even though Avis could have closed the deal at asking price, she helped us to negotiate for a lower selling price in the house that we wanted to purchase, helping us to achieve the coveted “Sell High, Buy Low” mantra in property investment. We always joke with Avis that she has earned her commission through the 73k that she has helped us save!

The buyers of our old flat did not engage a housing agent, and they are new to purchasing of flat. We had a very tight timeline to work with, which would not had been possible if Avis did not consistently follow up with buyers throughout the sale process. When comes to buying of our new place, she shortlisted a few potential units and summarized the pros and cons of each unit after the viewings. She was accommodating in making viewing arrangements! She also went beyond her call of duty to arrange for our ID to view the place prior to official key collection so that our renovation planning could start off earlier.

She is indeed a gem not to be missed! We will continue to support her business because she is an outstanding agent with integrity and a friend we can trust!
