I must admit that I am not one who provide positive feedback readily, even at times when I felt I was provided with great services. However, I am making an exception here to commend the excellent services provided by Lawrence.
We engaged Lawrence for the sale of our EM HDB in 2018 and began our journey in charting our pursuit of a dream private residence. Perhaps due to market conditions and HDB EM belonging to a rather niche segment of the property market, it took time to secure an interested buyer. It was indeed worth the while as we witnessed Lawrence expertly negotiate the twists and turns of the entire process. At the same time, he kept us assured and updated on the pertinent issues. It was of no surprise that the house was finally sold at a reasonable price, given the current market condition!
We then set our sights on our dream private home. It didn’t take long for us to make up our mind on a new condo launch in the OCR area. I must emphasise that this did not happen by chance, but by long drawn-out discussions with Lawrence for him to understand our needs, plenty of carefully curated viewings at numerous locations, resale as well as new launches. Similar to the HDB sale process, in the purchase of the condo, we always felt assured with Lawrence around, and his constant pragmatic reminder on the importance of balancing our aspirations with our budget. It was truly amazing to witness the great teamwork that Lawrence had shown with the condo Propnex sales team to obtain favourable sales terms and conditions.
The temporary accommodation, while waiting for the completion of our new condo, was also professionally arranged. Viewings made were all tailored made to our needs. There were some bumps along the way when we finally chose what we think is an excellent unit. It appeared at some point that the landlord had another offer with better rates and terms. What impressed us was the effort that Lawrence put into this matter. He refused to give up and continued to keep up the tempo. In a late twist to the plot, he successfully convinced the landlord that we offered the better overall package. We ended up with a very reasonable rental rate and accompanying terms! This is to us, a true demonstration of a master stroke in negotiation skills!
We have not reached the end of the road yet on this journey, with the sales and purchase completion not finished as yet. However, we remain extremely confident that we would be taken care of till the end.
In time to come, when it’s time for us to purchase additional properties as part of our investment portfolio, we will surely count on Lawrence to do so. In fact, I have started actively recommending him to several of my friends and colleagues. He is, in my opinion, definitely a top customer service performer in your company.
