PROPNEX FURTHER STRENGTHENS ITS DIGITAL PRESENCE IN SINGAPORE
PRESS RELEASE, 16 July 2019 – PropNex agents can now guide their clients seamlessly through their property purchasing journey with the PropNex Personal Assistant (PA), its mobile app for its agents. This new app will feature United Overseas Bank (UOB)’s digital home loan solution in an extension of PropNex’s partnership with the bank.
“Our tie-up with UOB made available a fully-digitalised home loan solution including real-time decisions on online loan applications that is integrated effortlessly into our salespersons’ mobile app – PA App. Through UOB’s digital home loan solution, our agents can provide an end-to-end home buying service including guiding them to apply for a home loan” explained Mr Kelvin Fong, Executive Director of PropNex, who is the brainchild and initiator of the PA App.
UOB’s digital home loan solution was introduced in PropNex’s Virtual Office Mobile in August 2018. Since then, PropNex’s salesforce has taken to the ease of using UOB’s digital home loan solution. Our salesforce has since attributed the more efficient and smoother home buying experience for their clients to UOB’s digital solutions.

Digital capabilities within PropNex PA
UOB Digital Home Loan Solution
UOB’s digital home loan solution includes Singapore’s first bank-recognised property valuation tool, GetBanker – a banker and buyer matching service and an online instant home loan approval service.
UOB’s digital instant valuation tool offers homebuyers property valuation that would be recognised by the Bank for their UOB home loan application. The GetBanker enables PropNex salespersons to connect prospective homebuyers to a banker who is most familiar with the property type the homebuyers want to purchase and can provide deeper advice on financing.
With UOB’s instant home loan application and real-time approval service, PropNex clients simply need to consent to the use of their personal information and income details through MyInfo and the online application form would be populated automatically. Upon the customer’s confirmation of personal and loan financing details, UOB will use its proprietary credit decisioning engine and real-time information from Credit Bureau Singapore to process the application within minutes.
Personal Assistant (PA) App launched earlier this year
PropNex launched the PropNex Personal Assistant (PA) App in March 2019, and our 7,987 salespersons (as at CEA website, 14 July 2019) have benefited from the many features of the PA App such as GrabTagger, Open House, auto posting of listings functions, customised websites for every salespersons and online home loan application through UOB’s digital home loan solution.
Customised Dotcom for all our salespersons
Every single PropNex salesperson is provided with a Customised Website which holds informative content of HDB resale listings and private resale listings and PropNex new launches. This was developed by the PropNex IT team to ensure the strong digital presence for its 7,900 over salespersons and allow them to easily connect their clients to all the newly launched projects and resale listings marketed by PropNex.

A well-loved feature by the salespersons is the customised Dotcom in the App. Ms Jasmine Lau shared, “This feature is as easy as ABC, as I can create my own website effortlessly and yet showcasing the wide array of my exclusive resale property listings as well as the over 50 projects that PropNex is marketing. This helps me save time while ensuring maximum reach for my clients’ properties.”
Mr Bryan Tan, a PropNex salesperson who actively serves clients in the new launch segment shared: “I recently started using the GrabTagger function on the PA App and I must say I’m really happy with it! With just one click, I am able to locate the project taggers available on site and contact them should my clients want to head down to view their desired project show unit. This definitely speeds us the process for PropNex salespersons and clients instead of waiting for someone to attend to clients’ needs.”
Project taggers are salespersons who are specifically trained and selected on marketing new launches, who are also able to guide clients with their vast knowledge and analysis of the product.
To ensure that all PropNex salespersons are equipped with ample knowledge on how to best utilize the new app for their clients, numerous trainings have been lined up, led by IT Director Mr Michael Koh. During these trainings, salespersons enjoy hands-on training with Mr Michael sharing useful tips and strategies to use the app and other social media platforms to increase their brand awareness and attention for their property listings online.
These are some of the many initiatives PropNex has rolled out for its salespersons, including many other digital marketing trainings and courses available in equipping them to perform more efficiently in the digitalized industry now.
