While the Enterprise 50 awards is a recognition of local, privately-held companies’ contribution to Singapore’s economic development, it is, to one of its winners, so much more than that.
P & N Holdings, whose flagship subsidiary is real estate agency PropNex Realty, is the only realty company ranked in Enterprise 50 for 2009.
“While we are indeed honoured to have been ranked in the Enterprise 50,” says Mr Adam Tan, Corporate Communications Manager for P & N Holdings and PropNex, “it is only due to our relentless commitment to the highest professional standards that allow us to be successful.”
He cites recent government announcements for regulation of the real estate industry, some measures of which PropNex has long implemented for its own agents.
Among these initiatives are complimentary exclusives for their customers, such as a free home repair warranty plan and free home content insurance, and their (PropNex) being Singapore’s first real estate agency to have every agent covered by professional indemnity insurance.

To that caring end, P & N Holdings has taken huge steps in 2009 to be a more socially responsible corporate citizen. Besides sponsoring local efforts by bodies such as the National University of Singapore and Breastfeeding Mothers Support Group (Singapore), they have raised funds to build a school wing in an impoverished village in Cambodia.
In fact, a contingent of their agents will be travelling up in December 2009 to distribute clothes, books, food and stationery to the 750 children of the village at the school wing’s opening ceremony.
