On 15 January 2010, four investment experts will share with potential investors tips on how to ride on the economic recovery in 2010 to create and manage wealth.
Speaking at an investment seminar, the panel includes PropNex CEO Mr Mohamed Ismail, Head of Phillip Managed Accounts Mr Sim Khee Lau, SingCapital Associate Director (Investment) Mr Rainer Krieg and UOB Asset Management Fund Manager Mr Robert Adair.
The seminar is an annual event organized by SingCapital, an MAS-licensed financial advisory. Its aim is to give the man on the street and experienced investors alike a head start on financial planning for the new year, be it in gold, property or other assets.
“Many people,” observes SingCapital CEO Mr Alfred Chia, “are asking questions, wanting to know if 2010 is a good year for investment and, if so, what should they invest in?
“2010 is definitely a good year for investment,” he continues. “And this seminar aims to demonstrate that, as well as some avenues for investment.”
Mr Chia advises those who would adopt a wait-and-see attitude to act now, as jumping onto any bandwagons that form after the economy has already recovered would be too late and would result in lost opportunities.
“However,” he cautions, “it is not enough to merely identify investment opportunities. One must also know what investment strategy to adopt when entering into the market of one’s choice. And that will also be revealed by our panel of speakers.”
The investment seminar, which will be held on 15 January 2010, from 6:30m at the HDB Hub Auditorium, is open to the public. Tickets, which cost just $10 each, include dinner and a free goodie bag.
