Kelvin Thong clinched the title 2017 Champion District Director due to his drive, dedication and passion in grooming the next generation of real estate salespersons.
Kelvin shared, "Besides real estate, my other passion in life is to change one's destiny. I always believe that I am in the business of selling destinies. Be it a client or my associate, I aspire to make a difference in their lives and help them improve their lifestyles. Witnessing their growth brings me joy and the level of satisfaction cannot be measured with monetary returns."
The passionate leader shared that he only has one simple goal for 2018, which is to see all his associates excel and improve together as one family. With the culture of selfless sharing and helping one another to grow exponentially, he believes that many like-minded individuals will be drawn to his team this year.
Cijay Tew was awarded the 2017 Champion Branch District Director and today, the passionate team leader has more than 500 associates under his wing.
Cijay describes himself as a compassionate and caring leader. He strives to understand each of his associates' needs based on different level of learning abilities. He also goes the extra mile to guide them and creating value added initiatives like consumer seminars, team events, prospecting activities and training platforms to contribute to their success in the industry.
He shared, "Team-building is a serious matter because people who joined you entrust their career and the lives of their loves ones to you. Andrew Ho was awarded the 2017 Champion Platinum Achiever and Champion Project Salesperson, making him a two-time Champion Platinum Achiever and a three-time Champion Project Salesperson thus far.
When asked how he managed to continue his success this year and maintain his progress despite busy schedule and life commitments, Andrew shared, "Yes, there are indeed many distractions in this century such as social media, games and more. The key to success for me is staying focused on my goals and reminding myself the reasons for the goals I set. Then, I will remove all other distractions in life and simply focus on my goal. To me, what it truly means to be focused is similar as trying to take a shot with a camera. When focused, only the focal point is being seen clearly, everything else is blurred. It is also important to prioritize on what matters, then we can easily attain a work life balance."
Randy How clinched the title 2017 Champion Landed Property Transactor due to his passion in helping clients to find their dream landed homes. To him, the three factors that made him a Champion today is, "Integrity, Perseverance and Focus". The couple shared, "We worked together as couple for close to 10 years now, since early 2008. We feel that working as a couple in the industry allows us to tap on each other's strengths." "I support Dominic in the things he does not like to do and vice versa! It is also a great feeling when we work together to help our clients in their investment journeys positively," commented Chermaine Na.
The couple believes that there are several factors that contribute to their success today. They shared, "We always put clients' interest at the first priority and never settle for mediocrity. On top of that, we constantly strive to be the best at what we are doing." In 2018, Dominic and Chermaine is challenging themselves to perform better than 2017's achievements.
Their advice to aspiring salespersons? "Do treat real estate like a business and a business requires you to invest both time and money into it. Make it happen and do not wait for things to happen for you."
