P&N Holdings is proud to be ranked second this year in the Enterprise 50 (E50) Awards. Also, being a recipient for the third time, the award reinforces the company’s efforts in business resilience, contributions to Singapore’s economic development and to the community as well as the best practices and corporate governance that the company has been keeping to. Jointly organised by The Business Times and KPMG, and supported by OCBC Bank, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, International Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Business Federation and SPRING Singapore, the E50 Awards seeks to recognise the fifty most enterprising privately-held local companies in Singapore.

P&N Holdings was founded in 2003 and is the award-winning parent company of several subsidiaries including the flagship company of PropNex Realty, which has since become Singapore’s leading player in the Real Estate industry. The company stays true to its corporate philosophy of achieving winning partnerships with its business partners, customers and staff. Its commitment to build trust and long-term relationships has resulted in a strong track record of quality and an extensive suite of services. Its network of subsidiaries in the real estate industry enables P&N Holdings to harness expertise and resources in delivering the one-stop services specialising in the real estate business.

The numerous subsidiaries of P&N Holdings include PropNex Realty, PropNex International, PropNex Property Management Consultancy, Singbuilders Development, Life Mastery Academy and SingCapital.
The core values of the business are Continuous Self-Improvement, Autonomy and Entrepreneurship, Respect and Concern and Ethics, Integrity and Honesty.

The E50 rankings were made on the following criteria of Operating Profit Before Tax (OPBT), Turnover, Return on Equity, Growth in Operating Profits, Growth in Turnover, Net Tangible Assets, Operating Cash Flow as a percentage of OPBT, Quick Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Total Fixed Assets, Operating Profit per Employee, Percentage of Turnover from Overseas Operations, Percentage of Payroll Spent on Training, Percentage of Revenue Spent on R&D. In addition, qualitative factors such as business model, productivity and innovations, management ideals and governance, knowledge initiatives, market branding and presence, and liquidity and risk management were taken into consideration.

“We are indeed honoured to have been ranked 2nd in the Enterprise 50 Awards. Our journey with the awards started when P&N Holdings was ranked 11th in 2008 and 15th in 2009. Our improvement in the ranks is attributed to perseverance, discipline and also to my partners who share the same vision for the company. The diversification of our business into property management, property development, financial advisory and even in learning academy is leveraging on our expertise in the real estate industry. We hope our next phase of growth will be in overseas ventures and in time to come, our business will be public-listed”, commented Mr Mohamed Ismail, Chairman and CEO of P & N Holdings.

A winning business is more than just meeting the bottom line. It is about delivering quality, reliable service and adding value to the lives of our customers and the community. Led by the flagship subsidiary, PropNex Realty has been active in corporate social responsibility initiatives, in contributing back to the community. In 2009 and 2010, PropNex Realty built new schools in Kampal and Trayong Pong (Cambodia) respectively and introduced water filtration tanks for a total of 500 students. The company had channeled a total of $30,000 to the Singapore Children’s Society too. In 2011, PropNex raised $50,000 for Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) with over 40 staff and salespersons. PropNex Realty also participated as marching contingent representing one of the pillars of Singapore’s Economic Defence at 2006 & 2011’s National Day Parade (NDP).

“P & N Holdings and its subsidiaries will not rest on its laurels. We strive to maintain our leading position as a trustworthy real estate company, while remembering those among us who are less fortunate. And we can only do that with the continued support of our dedicated staff and salespersons, as well as our customers, all of whom have contributed to our winning this award,” concluded Mr Ismail.
